]]> Applying company logo to commonly used objects keeps development costs under control – hence the mock-up. Have you ever noticed how ubiquitous coffee has become on television crime dramas, or any drama for that matter. The actors saunter in with a cup of coffee in hand, take a sip and begin to converse. Those cups are empty 99.9% of the time. You can tell by no heft to the cup, the hollow empty sound one gets when they put the cup down on a counter or table. Fake I tell you. I expect pretending to take a sip of coffee and make it look realistic is one of the skills they teach in acting classes.

Produced and bottled by Alexander Vintners (in my imagination). Like the energy drink, I started by first developing the label art. ]]> Realistic label affixed to a clear plastic bottle mock up for Juice drink client.  I started out by photographing mangos; peeled, sliced, diced, whole etc. The photos were brought into Photoshop, cutout from their backgrounds, then arranged with text and background colors. Using a photograph of an empty plastic bottle, the new label was ‘wrapped’ to give it a realistic look. Finally, finishing touches of water sweat and water splash previously prepared were added to the bottle and background.
